The Merrylands Curriculum follows the structure and matches the ambition of the National Curriculum in England. The curriculum has been designed to promote our core values as well as enabling all of our pupils to acquire sufficient knowledge that they need to be successful in their next stage of education.

At Merrylands Primary School and Nursery, we follow the 'FFT Success for All Phonics' scheme to teach Phonics.  This is a complete systematic synthetic phonics (SSP) programme that has been validated by the Department for Education.
