Parents/Carers
At Merrylands Primary School, we strive to provide the children with a safe and nurturing learning environment. Our aim is to provide a positive learning environment where children are safe, valued and enjoy their time at school.
We have been awarded both the bronze and silver Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRSA). The RRSA puts the rights of children at the heart of school life, where we strive to create safe and inspiring places to learn, where children are respected, and their talents are nurtured in order for them to thrive.
Communication Platforms
Whole school communication
As a school, we use ParentMail to share letters, notices and key information. We ask that all families have an active account to remain up-to-date with daily communication.
Please ensure that when you update your mobile number or email address it is shared with the School Office.
To Register: Please follow the link in the email or text you received from the school or club, or request a link from them.
Individual year group communication platforms
For those in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, daily communication, including images and homework, from within the year group is done through Tapestry.
For those in Year 3 to 6, homework and work being shared from the year group adults will be done through Seesaw.
If you are unable to access ParentMail, Tapestry or Seesaw, please inform the School Office who will be able to offer support.
